Hughes Parker is once again investing in additional process capacity and capabilities. This time the improvement is at our paint line in Plant 2.
In 2013, Hughes Parker Industries completed a major rebuild and overhaul of its paint line and an up-grade to its facility in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The conveyor system for the powder coat line was up-graded with higher weight-duty chain, drives and take-ups. The e-coat line was lengthened and re-routed. This added additional floor space to the load, unload and inspection areas for both paint lines. Additionally, new lighting was installed throughout the facility and the laboratory was remodeled and upgraded with new equipment.
