- A: Yes, we are registered with UL to the IATF 16949:2016 quality standard. Certificate Number: 10002506 IATF16.
- Q: Do you provide assembly service?
- A: Yes, we provide mechanical assembly, welding, paint and packaging – including packaging to the ultimate consumer.
- Q: How long have you been in business?
- A: We were established in 1970.
- Q: Have you developed long term relationships within your customer base?
- A: Yes. HP has a select group of customer with which we have enjoyed long term partnerships.
- Q: Can you inspect complex formed parts & certify tooling?
- A: Yes, we have a Brown & Sharpe CMM model XCL 7107
- Q: What are the largest parts you make?
- A: We specialize in large stampings. We have 28 presses up to 1000 tons. In addition, we are capable of producing various sizes and shapes of stamped and fabricated assemblies. Our largest press bed size is 128″ x 60″. The thickest coil size we handle is 3/8″ (9.5 mm); maximum coil width is 30″ (762 mm).
- Q: What types of metals do you work with?
- A: We typically work with carbon steel, but commonly process HSLA, stainless, aluminum, copper, brass and pre-painted steel.
- Q: Are you able to produce small quantities of metal stampings?
- A: Yes, but we specialize in mid volume production runs. For metal stampings, this normally means tens of thousands to millions of parts per year. When in doubt, please inquire with our sales group – see the “Contact Us” page on our website.
- Q: Do you make/design your own tooling?
- A: Yes, we have full tool design capabilities. We design our own tooling and utilize well-established contract tooling sources. HP performs tool maintenance in-house.
- Q: Do you make prototypes & help with design engineering?
- A: Yes, we offer value engineering services & design for manufacturability assistance.
- Q: How many employees do you have?
- A: This varies between 150 and 175 employees.
- Q: How big is your facility?
- A: A total of 200,000 SQF of production and warehousing space and 4,000 SQF of office space.
- Q: Do you make parts for the automotive industry?
- A: Yes, but we are not primarily automotive.
- Q: What is an example of your “progressive” management style?
- A: We employ “open book” accounting with our employees. This helps us provide the atmosphere where we are all on the same team.
- Q: Do you operate a “Green Company”?
- A: We continuously strive to be as “Green” of a company as possible. We attempt to capture ALL in-process scrap and recycle nearly 100% of our daily in-plant & office consumables – including paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, etc.
